Jon Hill has dedicated his life to the art of guitar building. For 30 years the Cleveland, Ohio native has created masterworks for music legends like Joe Walsh (Eagles) Stefan Lessard (Dave Matthews Band), Robbie Merrill (GODSMACK), Scotti Hill (Skid Row), Tom Araya (Slayer) , Mark St John of Kiss and a long list of others. We are pleased to have Jon Hill at Guitarfest.
Sperzel has been manufacturing tuning keys since 1977 with their unique design and precision machining ability. In 1983 Sperzel introduced the guitar world to a locking tuning key–Trim-Lok–that held the string tight without tying or multiple wraps around the string post, which can slip and cause problems with tuning stability. We are pleases to have Sperzel as part of the show.

But many are finding hope in an unlikely place: behind the wood and strings of an acoustic guitar. The healing power of music helps soldiers cope. That’s why we provide veterans with guitars and a forum to learn how to play.

Robert Baker is a professional guitar instructor, songwriter, video producer, product demonstrator, and life long student of the guitar. Robert’s musical background goes back to his childhood being surrounded by music from many different genres including Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass, and Country, and are what have shaped Robert’s melodic groove rock style. It was also early on that Robert discovered his love for teaching others what he knew on guitar, and by the age of 21 he was a full time guitar instructor. Shortly after this Robert discovered Youtube and begin posting videos of originals and lessons on concepts he didn’t see others teaching. After posting videos for a few years and building a fanbase Robert now works hands on with many companies as well as manages media for them and demos gear. Forever the student if Robert isn’t writing music or teaching it he is probably studying it.
Freddy DeMarco is an international guitarist/clinician for Korg, VOX, Blackstar and (formerly) Marshall amplification. He is an “in demand” session player, that has played with world renowned musicians including — Steve Vai, Mike Keneally, Jani Lane, Mike Mangini (Dream Theater), Erik Norelander (Asia). The DeMarco Brothers band has played tour dates with, Michael Schenker, Nuno Bettencourt, and Zakk Wylde. Freddy has worked as Sherman Helmsley’s (George Jefferson in the hit TV show The Jeffersons) music director, and has played on and produced countless album projects. Freddy currently performs live in various bands, including the role of Angus Young, in one of the countries top AC DC tribute bands, Dirty Deeds. Freddy also plays in the local blues/Classic Rock act Zen Archer and the David Waller Freddy DeMarco Acoustic/Electric Duo plus the blues/rok act Humbucker Blues. On Occasion, Freddy can be seen with the jazz/fusion act Seven O’clock Chicken, which involves some of the other instructors at DSM.
Ken Haas is Reverend’ Guitars CEO. Ken started with Reverend demoing guitars at trade shows and was promoted to Head of Sales in 2007, then became General Manager in 2010. Ken has been playing guitar since 1981 (he’s amassed quite a collection since then). He currently plays in The Polka Floyd Show with his wife, Penny and Reverend Warehouse Manager, Chris Zielinski, as well as in J Navarro and the Traitors with Reverend endorsee, J Navarro. He also plays steel guitar in The Zimmerman Twins with Reverend employee, Kevin Tufts. Ken’s the father of four and the proud owner of a sweet Mustang Cobra. Ken will demo some of Reverend's newest guitars amd take part in a Q&A session with attendees. It's sure to be a fun clinick with Kens colorful personality.

The Arena Building is 60,000 square feet with no vertical support beams to obstruct sight lines. Huge access doors accommodate moving-van sized trucks. The electric system is sophisticated and state-of-the-art with uninterrupted power supply systems sufficient to handle computer shows. Concession stands and storage areas around the inside walls make vending simple and uncluttered.
Each booth space is 6 x 8 with a 2 ft buffer beween booths and include a 8 ft table and a chair.
